No ride today we have a work party at our Complex to remove the dead and damaged shrubs from our real winter we just had. Hopefully get out tomorrow before work at the rail.
Today is the 29th anniversary of working as a trainman this day 1980 I started in train service for BC Rail in Williams Lake BC also today i start back at the Cove Bike shop, not before a lap on the XC bike. I'll post that later.
Nice evening Ride we met at Old Buck 6:00 pm for a quick shuttle we rode the usual Seymour lower trails it will be a few weeks yet before the snow is off the CBC. It was great to get out on the bike I haven't been riding since last Saturday, the whole rules thing. tonight our crew was Steve McCabe, Pikey, Colin, Manny, Myself and Thanks Bob for the shuttle return.
Today I had to write my rules, I was a little nervous. Every 3 years you have to write rules to work on the rail as a train conductor well i can go another three years now. I've been studying the last few days, oh well glad that's behind me Time TO Ride
This shot is of (Dave Ford)Pikey on the steep chute on Severed Dick

I am posting this from our trip to Puerto Vallarta back in Feb. Hi KB Sorry it took so long I had to work out my new computerand ,as you can see we ride alot.
This ride was El-salto We had awsome Cevechie at the end of this ride from a street vendor Alonso turned us on to we went back several times during our stay in Puerto Vallarta
No ride today I fixed my free-hub thanks to Shimano and the Cove Bike Shop. I'm getting good at replacing that part oh well I'm back rolling, Made some Indian food Beers and watched the Canucks Game 3 to 0 for Vancouver :) over St Louis series lead 2 to 0. Good luck John racing @Sea Otter In Monterey Pin'er Your Hustler looks awsome.
Steve McCabe and I rode XC bikes in the morning, we rode up Mount Seymour to Dales. Then descended Dales and After Taste which popped us out on the bridal path then we traversed back to Old buck Parking lot. My Xt wheel set blew up its second drive hub awsome wheels but a week drive hub. I've been told the problem should be fixed lets hope so. Shimano is standing behind their prouct so that makes me happy. We then got a bite to eat and then met up With Pikey and Colin for a shuttle ride they rode their hardtails (cove stiffee's) We rode Seymour again all downhill though. We did the usual Corkscrew, Pingu, Pangor session at the church then out the bypass. Then back to Steve's for another session and a couple of tall boy Lowenbrau. What a great day Video to follow

In a factory this size quality control is first and foremost. If you have ever ridden a Cove or yess bike you'll know this. Iif you haven't its time to throw you're leg over one and feel the difference.
Chaz let Steve Mc and I have a Tour of yess mfg to see the Shocker and STD being built. It was quite a treat This is the CNC machine making Linkage plates
